Info | Anthony Angelozzi is a U.S. History teacher at Hammonton High School and serves as the Hammonton Education Association (HEA) president.
Angelozzi has spent the better part of 15 years teaching in the Hammonton School District. He understands our children’s challenges firsthand and has a unique perspective regarding the tools students need to succeed.
As president of the HEA, he represents the district’s certified staff, instructional aides, secretaries, custodial staff, maintenance staff, and grounds staff. Angelozzi takes great pride in being able to advocate for his fellow co-workers. During the COVID-19 pandemic, Angelozzi worked to help navigate COVID safety concerns and the return to school for students and negotiated for employees with vulnerable family members who needed remote work.
Angelozzi grew up in Mays Landing. His parents were both Casino gaming employees in Atlantic City and met in blackjack school. Angelozzi started working in an Atlantic City casino two weeks after graduating high school and worked his way through college.
He earned a master’s in American history at American Public University. He is also an NJEA Uniserv consultant for Atlantic and Cape May counties and the Atlantic County Council of Education Associations Government Relations chair and Legislative Action Team member.
Angelozzi and his wife, Tracy, have two children. Tracy also teaches at Hammonton High School and is the vice president of the Hammonton Education Association.
