| Info | David T. Flanagan, a 55 year old native of Maine, was born in Bangor on June 28, 1947, the oldest of eight children of Tom and Connie Flanagan. Tom worked as an insurance adjuster and Connie as a registered nurse.
David attended the Abraham Lincoln School in Bangor and the George B. Weatherbee School in Hampden before his family moved to Portland in 1960. David graduated from Deering High School in Portland in 1965.
A Harvard Scholarship
Because of his outstanding academic record, David earned a scholarship to Harvard College. He also continued to work year-round to support himself. David graduated with a B.A. from Harvard in 1969, and went on to attend the University of London, King�s College, where he received an M.A. in 1970. Subsequently David attended Boston College Law School, again supporting himself through a combination of scholarships and jobs, and received his law degree in 1973.
