InfoTort Reform
I believe that a "jury of one's peers" is perfectly capable of determining the necessary financial compensation in any particular case. I do not see the need for more government regulations.

Budget Surplus
While it is certainly important to be fiscally conservative and save surplus funds for a rainy day, small businesses and several public schools are hurting. As one of only two states in the NATION with a budget surplus, we are in a unique situation. It is crucial to help these struggling small businesses in the form of tax breaks, and we must be willing to invest in our children. This involves finding the best teachers, and paying them salaries, that will not only keep them in Wyoming, but also THANK them for the time, effort, and long hours that they put in, as they, essentially, help raise Wyoming's children.

Economic Growth & The Future
The future of Wyoming is it's children. Sounds kind of simplistic? Well it is. Around 70% of Wyoming's youth leaves the state upon graduating from the University of Wyoming. The university is ALSO the solution. I want to make UW THEE premiere research focal point in the American west in regards to issues that affect the American west: agriculture, geology, engineering, and chemistry. This would create jobs and industry in the southeastern part of the state, give Wyoming a more consistent economy, let the rest of Wyoming keeps its traditionalism with little intrusion, and most importantly, keep Wyoming's brilliant young minds in the state.

Conservation
Wyoming is quite unique among the fifty states. Not only is it the least populated state in the nation, but it's wilds are draw-poppingly gorgeous. Yellowstone, the Grand Tetons, the Bighorns, Devils Tower, the Wind River Range, the Medicine Bow Mountains, vast expanses of untouched prairie teeming with life, badlands, primordial pine forests full of grandeur, barren rocky outcroppings that hold the keys to some of the worlds geological past, and the largest expanse of sky on the planet. Wyoming is unrivaled in its natural heritage. I believe we must preserve it, especially in areas of mineral exploration, where it is imperative that we damage the land as little as possible.

Gun Rights
I come from a long line of gun-owning Americans. My grandfather is an avid hunter, and my Dad a collector. Time and time again, studies have proven that gun control mostly hurts the law-abiding gun owner. This is Wyoming; as many have said, gun control just refers to how well you can steady your aim. I'm an ardent supporter of gun rights, and will always continue to be. "A well-regulated Militia being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms shall not be infringed."
