| Info | Earle McCormick of West Gardiner is serving his second term in the Maine State Legislature. He represents District 79, the Towns of Farmingdale, Hallowell and West Gardiner. At the beginning of the 122nd Legislature the presiding officers appointed him to serve on the Joint Select Committee on Property Tax Reform. He is also a member of the Joint Standing Committee on Taxation.
Rep. McCormick, who has degrees in meteorology from the Naval Post Graduate School and St. Louis University, is a retired U.S. Air Force meteorologist having spent 23 years in the military. He was awarded the Meritorious Service Medal and four Air Force Commendation Medals. He taught mathematics at the high school and middle school levels where he also coached baseball, softball and track. His interests now include buying and selling antiques and collectibles.
