| Info | My name is Allison McKenzie. I was born and raised in Burlington and have enjoyed watching the once small community grow into a renowned city. I am proud to be a member of this community and I am excited to have the opportunity to represent the residents of Burlington in the upcoming provincial election as the Burlington candidate for the New Blue Party of Ontario. My background is in healthcare. I have been a Registered Nurse, working on the frontline, for many years. I have also enjoyed continuing education opportunities in the field of Health and Safety. I am committed to being a lifelong learner. I have strong and proven leadership skills and I value the importance of family, transparency, collaboration and respecting individual autonomy. The rights of individuals must be protected. It is time for Ontarians to unite. I promise to act ethically with courage and integrity, to tell the truth even when it might not be easy, and to begin to restore the public’s trust in government, institutions and one another. So much mistrust exists, but I believe that the first step to rebuilding is listening and engaging: listening to the residents in the community I represent; finding out what issues, policies and opportunities are important to YOU, and bringing these topics to light.
