Info | Why am I running?
Georgia’s 14th Congressional District includes almost all of northwestern Georgia. Catoosa, Chattooga, Dade, Floyd, Gordon, Haralson, Murray, Paulding, Polk, Walker, Whitfield, and a portion of Pickens counties are included in this district.
I am running because the 14th deserves more than hate speech, media showboating tactics, and relationships with individuals who do not respect our Democracy. I believe the greatest asset the 14th district has is unity; if we stand together we can win back a sense of community and stewardship to each other. I look forward to listening, learning, and working hard for each resident and business in my district.
United We Can,
Lateefah B. Conner
Wife, Mother & Businesswoman
Lateefah Conner has been married to Dr. Chauncey Conner for seventeen years. Together they co-founded Conner Dental Associates, a successful dental practice for over fifteen years in Kennesaw, GA.
She has always believed in and practiced servant leadership. She has a strong commitment to the community; ranging from her service in the Peace Corps, participating in voter registration drives, being a member of the Atlanta Black Jewish Coalition, and founding an Amnesty International chapter at Spelman College.
She is most proud of the community relation program she developed in 2016 called Adopt-A-Cop for a Better Cobb County. In subsequent years she created Cops Corner and #Grab & Go for police officers to further strengthen the relationship between local law enforcement and the surrounding community. Lateefah currently serves as the Chairwoman of the Board of the Kennesaw Public Safety Foundation.
Professionally in her previous roles, she has worked as a Financial Administrator where she managed over $5 million in state and federal grant funds through programs such as HOME, CDBG, & EAG assist to seniors, homeless, and low-income homeowners with home repairs. She even worked as a Legislative Aide for State Rep. Nan Orrock who created the FMLA, which still supports families to this day.
Lateefah holds a Masters of Public Policy from Rutgers University and a B.S. in Natural Science from Spelman College. She is a proud Spelmanite woman!
