InfoJoe Preston, MP was elected by the riding of Elgin – Middlesex – London.

His responsibilities are to ensure the best service possible for his constituents, and to focus on holding this government to account.
He has been an active member of the Standing Committee for Government Operations and Estimates.

Joe is Chair of the Communities and Infrastructure Committee for the Ontario Caucus. This committee organised a meeting of Mayors from Ontario to gather their input on the issues that matter to them.

Joe is an avid hockey fan.

He remains rooted in the community, commuting back to St. Thomas most week-ends to his wife Geri, with whom he has two children: Adam and Kate.

He is still very involved with many community groups including the St. Thomas Kiwanis Club, the St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital, and the United Way and the Youth Center.

Prior to seeking public life, Joe was a successful Wendy’s Restaurant executive and franchise owner, and had established an independent restaurant in Lambeth.

Living in St. Thomas, he is honoured to represent the constituents of Elgin – Middlesex – London.
