InfoA graduate of the Université de Sherbrooke in Business Administration, Pablo started his career in 1989 as a Management Consultant for the Centre d’entreprises de l’Université de Sherbrooke. In this capacity, he completed various projects for many local SMEs.

His interest for international issues led him to join Club 2/3 Inc. in 1991. As International Projects Manager, he was responsible for the management and evaluation of development projects in Africa, Asia, Latin America and the Caribbean. In this role, he supervised and managed various projects in the areas of education, literacy and human rights in over thirty countries. His responsibilities also included lecturing at a number of conferences both in Canada and abroad.

From 1996 to 2003, he was Vice-President and Associate of GGA Communications where he was responsible for numerous public affairs projects, in Canada and overseas. Pablo was also responsible for the management of projects approved by the World Bank and other multilateral institutions. Between October 2003 and April 2004, he not only worked freelance, but also volunteered in numerous activities.

Pablo has been an active member of the Liberal Party of Canada for over 12 years. During this time, he has presided over the Communications Committee, and has been a member of the Policy Committee, president of the Young Liberals of Canada (Québec), as well as a party spokesperson during the election campaigns of 1993, 1997 and 2000. He was also a member of the National Executive and presided over the Québec chapter of the LPC from 2002 to 2005. Furthermore, he was a member of the National Platform Committee for the 2004 federal election.

Pablo continues to distinguish himself through his commitment for great humanitarian causes. An active supporter of aid to developing countries as well as the fight against poverty, he has collaborated with many organisations such as Oxfam-Québec, an organisation for which he has served as Vice-President for four years.

Elected as Member of Parliament on June 28, 2004, Pablo was also Chair of the Standing Committee on Official Languages during his first mandate. On January 23rd, 2006, Pablo was reelected MP for the riding of Honoré-Mercier.

On a personal note, Pablo and his wife Roxane are proud parents of a little girl named Béatrice.
