| Info | Sharon Juon is a longtime Waterloo resident, currently residing in the Audubon Park neighborhood. She is an alumnus of Iowa State University (B.A. Sociology, '69). A dedicated public servant, Sharon held executive positions at Waterloo Downtown Council, Waterloo Chamber of Commerce, and Iowa Northland Regional Council of Governments (INRCG), where she served as Executive Director for 25 years.
She has been an active citizen in the community, volunteering on a number of commissions and receiving service awards from Waterloo Chamber of Commerce, Leadership Iowa, Junior Achievement, and ISU, among others. She firmly believes that the Waterloo community can grow by prioritizing public safety, economic development, recreation and community building. Sharon is a proud parent and grandparent of 2 daughters and 2 granddaughters.
