| Info | Wendy Gorchinsky, the mother of three children, received a B.Ed. with high distinction from McGill, and taught in the public schools for 16 years. During that time, she was actively involved in extra-curricular projects for students and in curriculum development for Environmental and Peace Education, Social Justice programs and Sex Education. Her teaching gift with young adults, in the areas of Mathematics, Spirituality and respect for Community and Culture, prepared the ground for her later educational work as an environmental entrepreneur.
Wendy Gorchinsky's great love for Nature was often shared with her students in camping, canoeing, skiing and later showed itself in her research work with the composting worm. For the last 14 years, she has been observing, working with, and teaching about this invaluable being, who contributes to the secrets and sacredness of the Soil. Her environmental business offers consumers green choices and has an extensive variety of alternative books. This Scorpio has many loves, which all contribute to her story and flavoring of her personality - horses, swimming, hiking, canoeing, cooking, gardening, indigenous cultures, dancing, music, geometry, and architecture are to name only a few. She has organized many organic markets, workshops on the cutting-edge of ecology and water/soil science. She has been deeply involved in her children's education and has strongly participated in and supports the intuitive and creative abilities of women to transform.
Wendy Gorchinsky's involvements in green mapping, sustainability, soil conservation, human waste treatment, justice accounting, alternative technologies, as well as education for the internal technology and alchemy of sacred sexual relationship, offer the Joliette region a prime candidate not only for transformation of our community into a new age of consciousness, but in also helping us make a major contribution towards our human evolutionary path.
