| Info | A resident of Saddle Brook for over 20 years, I Richard Garcia am proud to announce my candidacy on the Republican ticket for the State Senate in New Jersey 38th Legislative District. From my humble beginnings raised in a large Latino family out of Garfield, NJ, I worked tirelessly to achieve my goals in the world of finance, becoming the CEO of the Newark BOE Federal Credit Union. Over the last year we have seen how impactful state government can be on our lives, and how important it is to have the right leadership in place. As well as a government with checks and balances. One party controlling everything cost NJ to lose one-third of its small businesses due to the mismanaged covid-19 response by the current democrat administration. I have seen enough, and intend to bring oversight back to Trenton. The State of New Jersey at a crossroads, it is no longer the bastion for middle-class families that it once was. Under the current Democrat leadership, our taxes are increasing, jobs are not coming back, and the already high cost of living continues to skyrocket. I know what New Jersey families are going through right now, and I will use my unique background and vast life experiences to bring prosperity back to the 38th district and our state.
