| Info | Kraig Andrews, Mayor Pro Tem of the Grand Junction City Council, announced he is running for the at large seat on the Council in the upcoming City Election. Andrews was originally appointed to the Council to fill a vacancy in Council District E in 2019. “I’m running for City Council this time for the same reason I asked to be appointed two years ago,” noted Andrews. “I bring diverse experience and knowledge to city leadership with my experience in construction and development. This experience will be critical to making good decisions as the city grows and prospers in the next four years.”
A small businessman, Andrews is an owner of Rock Creek Custom Homes, LLC.
He is a Colorado native that has lived in the Grand Valley for the past 26 years and attended Colorado Mesa University.
An avid outdoorsman, Kraig enjoys many of the outdoor activities that the Western Slope has to offer. He has donated his time to conservation organizations such as Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation and Ducks Unlimited. He has also volunteered with several other non-profit organizations in the Grand Valley.
