I’m running for Mayor of New York City because the city that I love, the city of opportunity where I built my business, is in a state of crisis.
Our infrastructure is crumbling, crime is spiraling out of control and the pandemic is exposing just how bad the problem of inequality is in New York City. It’s time to return to common sense policies and ideas.
The way out of this crisis is not unlike constructing a building: you follow a blueprint and start with the foundation. New York City’s foundation has been made structurally unsound, and as a builder, I know how to fix it and lead us out of crisis and into opportunity.
I’m not a politician. I’m a Bronx-born New Yorker who isn’t fearful of the hard work and tough decisions that lay ahead. I’m running for Mayor because I want to be a catalyst of change and execute my vision for what the greatest city in the world should look like. It will take a builder to rebuild New York City, and I’m the woman to do it.
