Patrick is an advocate within his community. His involvements through social housing, race relations and community-building committees only reinforce his commitment to creating a better society. Patrick’s lease-to-purchase program has encouraged neighbourhood stability and created home ownership for those families who would not accomplish this goal through traditional means. As a member of the City of Saskatoon’s Race Relations Committee, Patrick has experienced the benefits of communities working together. He has spent years working on an urban revitalization project in Pleasant Hill. Through this project the area of Pleasant Hill will be rejuvenated with safe community spaces and a source of pride for the surrounding neighbourhoods.
