| Info | Olivia Lupia has been a Colorado Springs resident since 2000 when her family moved from Florida to escape the heat, humidity, and bugs. Raised here in beautiful Colorado Springs, Olivia carries fond memories of splashing in Uncle Wilber’s Fountain downtown, enjoying the annual Frontier Days and Giant Pumpkin Festival, playing lacrosse and field hockey at Cheyenne Mountain High School, and “Yee-Hawing” at the Pikes Peak or Bust Rodeo.
Skiing since she was five, Olivia and her family enjoy hitting the slopes each year, one of her very favorite parts of Colorado culture. Olivia is an avid reader, Pride and Prejudice and Little Women among her favorites, and is currently into Vince Flynn’s Mitch Rapp saga.
When she was 12, Olivia and her family were hit head-on by a drunk, stoned driver at approximately 100 miles per hour while returning from a ski trip. While she considers it a miracle simply to have her life and the lives of her father and brother, the resulting trauma led to years of hospitalizations, experimental medical procedures and medications, and traumatic brain injury that left the Lupias questioning if Olivia would ever walk again or be able to have a normal life. Now, Olivia is fully healed and her triumphant spirit, coupled with her optimism and idealism, has gifted her with a zest and passion for living life to its fullest. She attended the American Musical and Dramatic Academy in Los Angeles and pursues performing arts through music and acting.
