| Info | My family came to Cook County in the late 1800’s. I was born and raised here and have three children who graduated from Cook County High School and three grandchildren who are being raised here now.
I have followed local politics from an early age. I wrote my first letter to elected officials on the school board when I was in high school. My father was county commissioner while I was growing up and he is the one who inspired me to run for office. I love to talk to people about various issues and strive to get as many perspectives and ideas as I can before making decisions.
Like many people who live here I have held various jobs. I have been an employee of various local private enterprises, a family business partner with my sister (World’s Best Donuts), a school employee, and most recently, I provided office support in the Auditor’s Office.
