InfoGrowing up without much, Justin’s family instilled the values that helped him become the person he is today. Through hard work, education, and a great investment of time, Justin has become a leader in his industry and a valuable member of his community.

Hearing the call to serve, Justin knew it was time to dedicate himself to a higher cause and become a public servant. Unlike other decisions in his past, Justin describes it as a calling to do what was right.

As a child, I always dreamed of growing up to become a transformer. That did not work out.

Together with his family, the decision was made to take this journey to the next phase. It is through faith and a love for his country that Justin Maldonado now moves ahead and asks for your support. This is not just Justin’s journey, as we are with him. Together we can make a better tomorrow for our children, grandchildren, and future generations to come.

Family Life

Raised in Perth Amboy and attending public schools, Justin developed a diverse view of the world. His father was the first in his family to graduate high school, and his mother was raised in a working-class family. From a young age, he learned the value of being involved in his community, good education, and financial responsibility.

My name is Justin Maldonado. I am 31 years of age. I was born in Perth Amboy, New Jersey, on December 21, 1988. I am a long-life resident of Perth Amboy. I believe our town is one of the unique cities in the United States. We have diversity and the best restaurants and the best people overall. I am a firm believer in the Constitution of the United States. I believe everyone should be treated with the highest-level respect and equality. And I also think that politicians should hold themselves accountable to the people because the people elected them. I would love the opportunity to serve on the Council. Because I agree the system is broken. And yes, we are going through troubled times right now, but Perth Amboy has always been a firm community, and we were the only city to remove the KKK. That shows the courage of Perth Amboy residents. This will be my first time running for an elected official position. I have worked on many campaigns’ citywide campaigns and countywide campaigns. I have had great mentors, and I have watched how campaigns work, which makes me very knowledgeable when it comes to politics. I know this is going to be an uphill battle, but I am ready to climb the rough side of the mountain because if I fall, I will have a chance to grip myself on edge, rather than the swing side where I would come to a complete downward spiral. Perth Amboy needs strong leadership. It is time that we make a change in Perth Amboy. I may be young, but I have common sense. I am not stupid, and I know that our residents are suffering day by day because of corrupt politics and personal agendas. Perth Amboy let me fight for you. Let me be your voice because everyone deserves to have their voice heard not to be silent by tyrants or dictators. Perth Amboy, I stand at the ready to serve you. If elected, as your MAYOR and would never neglect any citizen or comment negative, you have the right to freedom of speech, and no one can take that away from you.

As a former Perth Amboy high school graduate and a former JROTC LT, Where I oversaw corruption and information technology, I believe that I am qualified to be your MAYOR. I am previous A hotel distress, regional manager, which in other words, was for me to go all over the United States and fix hotels that were in trouble. It was a very challenging job, but I loved every minute of it. Where my leadership was put to the test numerous times, I never gave up. I always said to everyone there must be a better way in no way shape or form. I am comparing a regional hotel manager to a City MAYOR. But they are both leadership positions that require critical thinking and working with others to achieve goals
