This colorful Arkansas country lawyer with his trademark black cowboy hat and boots has become a legend by taking on those cases that others are afraid to tackle.
He knows what it is like to be poor and powerless as he grew up on a farm in the Cache River bottoms of Jackson County in eastern Arkansas. Armed with only a fifth grade education he defied and overcame the odds by getting a GED, going on to college and law school, and then acquiring a prestigious Masters of Law in Agricultural Law from the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville Law School.
Dan Ivy has handled some of the most controversial clients and cases from the Oklahoma City Bombing Case to personally suing some of the richest people and the largest corporations in the world. While an attorney has a duty as an officer of the Court to give the Judge the respect and dignity that the office so richly deserves, he cannot back down to injustice and bias even if he is threatened with being put in contempt of court and thrown in jail!
