| Info | Lori has lived in Carson City since 1966 and began her education in the Carson City School District and graduated from Carson High. She then earned her Associate Degree from Western Nevada Community College and a Bachelor’s degree from Liberty University.
Lori’s 26-year career path began in the mail room at the Department of Taxation at the age of 17. She was a lobbyist and the Budget Director/Taxation Specialist for the Nevada Association of Counties and provided financial planning assistance for several Counties. She was a Tax Administrator for the Department of Motor Vehicle and Public Safety, a Management Analyst for Child and Family Services, a Budget Analyst for the Governor’s Office and Deputy Director of the Department of Corrections.
Upon her retirement, she became a business owner and entrepreneur. As a local small business owner, she understands the challenges facing the business community. Her government and private sector experience give her a unique set of skills to successfully fulfill the position of Mayor.
Lori along with her husband Jim enjoys their three children, seven grandchildren, five great grandchildren and one dog.
