John Inhulsen is an experienced conservative leader, a third-generation entrepreneur and a proud husband and father.
Inhulsen has served in numerous leadership roles. Politically, as Kent GOP Chairman, he played an integral role as a Michigan Finance Chair for the Trump Presidential campaign, as well as working with the Presidential Transition Team and Presidential Inaugural Committee. In the 2018 cycle, John served as Co-Chair to John James’ Senate Campaign and has continued that role for the 2020 cycle.
Professionally, he is consistently rated a top attorney in Grand Rapids, having been counted amongst Michigan Super Lawyers since 2013, Best Lawyers in America, and a 2019 Top Lawyer by Grand Rapids Magazine. He is a two-time recipient of the Grand Rapids Business Journal’s prestigious 40 Under Forty Business Leaders Award, and his small business law firm was rated a 2020 Best Law Firm by U.S. News & World Report
In the community, John has served on leadership of multiple boards and foundations, including: Board of Directors, West Michigan Policy Forum; Chairman, Leukemia & Lymphoma Society; Board of Directors, East Grand Rapids Schools Foundation; Board of Directors, Adrian Public Schools Foundation; Board of Directors, Broadway Grand Rapids; Board of Directors, West Michigan Spartans; Campaign Cabinet, United Way of West Michigan; and the Campaign Cabinet, Helen DeVos Children’s Hospital.
John is a proud husband and father. He lives in East Grand Rapids with his wife Monica, and their 3 children Charlie, Henry and Elizabeth.
