| Info | John’s roots run deep in the 10th Congressional District. Born in Rahway, N.J., he has lived and worked his entire life in Jersey City and Bayonne. John and his wife have been married for nearly sixteen years and today their two children represent the 5th generation of Flora’s still living in the district.
John is grateful for a mother who insisted he receive the education she never did. He was the first in his immediate family to graduate from college. Today, he is an alumnus of the George Washington University and Teachers College, Columbia University, with Master’s degrees in Political Management and Politics and Education, respectively. School funding, voter apathy, and political patronage were some of the issues that inspired John to look beyond the walls of his classroom.
