| Info | Jimmy Crumpacker is a seventh generation Oregonian whose family roots go back to 1850. Born and raised in Portland, Jimmy is a proud product of Oregon Public Schools. Jimmy went to Georgetown University where he received a B.A. in Government.
A lifelong Republican Jimmy attended college at Georgetown University, where he interned for former Senator Gordon Smith. After graduation, Jimmy began his career in the private sector, working for some of the largest companies in the country. Starting at American Insurance Group, Jimmy specialized in risk before joining First New York Securities as an investor in energy.
After a successful career on Wall Street, Jimmy then moved home to Oregon and opened his own company. For the past seven years, Jimmy and his company, Crumpacker Asset Management, have been investing in and securing American energy independence and augmenting the historic growth of the American energy sector.
Having experienced tremendous private sector success, Jimmy began using his business skills to help local non-profits. In 2014, Jimmy joined the board of the Oregon Ballet Theatre at a time when the company was on the brink of financial ruin. OBT now has 50% of its budget in cash in the bank, eliminated its debt burden, and now has a budget 60% larger than when Jimmy joined the board after enjoying record setting ticket sales.
Jimmy also joined the board of Meals on Wheels, an organization with which he has been involved from the time he began delivering meals as a child with his grandmother. After his time as chair of the marketing and development committees, Jimmy has enjoyed driving the same weekly route delivering meals for the past six years.
