Info | A Sri Lankan-born doctor on a mission to fight litter today became the final candidate to enter the race for London mayor. Tammy Nagalingam of Blackheath stumped up £20,000 of her own savings to stand, and collected 320 nomination signatures by knocking on doors across London. Her policies include restricting the congestion charge to the morning-rush hour and staging free St George's Day concerts in Hyde Park. Dr Nagalingam qualified as a doctor in Sri Lanka before coming to Britain and working as an NHS hospital doctor. She now runs private slimming clinics.
