| Info | Curtis is proud to have lived in Aurora for most of his life. He met his amazing wife in Aurora and they now have two beautiful daughters. They bought their first house in Hoffman Heights in Northwest Aurora and eventually moved to Briarcliff at Seven Hills in 2015. The Gardner Family attends church in Aurora and works in Aurora - this is their home.
Growing up, Curtis attended both Aurora and Cherry Creek Schools. He has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Management (Specializing in Public & Non-Profit Management) as well as a Master of Finance Degree (Accounting Specialization). He graduated as a Distinguished Scholar.
Throughout his career, he has worked in various management positions. This has given him valuable experience in creating jobs, managing complex projects and juggling competing responsibilities. In addition to serving as an At-Large council member, Curtis is also a credit union Executive Vice President.
Outside work, Curtis has always been active in the community, volunteering and serving on various boards & community groups including:
-Prior Chair of the Aurora Citizens Advisory Budget Committee - Appointed in 2012 / Elected Chair in 2018
-President of the Briarcliff at Seven Hills Homeowners Association - Elected in 2016
-Vice President of the Mountain West Credit Union Association Denver Chapter - Elected in 2015 / Elected Vice President in 2019
Curtis is passionate about the success and sustainability of Aurora and is honored to serve the residents of Aurora as an At-Large Council member.
