Judy Dodge was born and raised in Dayton, Ohio where she attended Dayton Public Schools and graduated from Colonel White High School. She went on to earn her Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Wright State University in 1985 and graduated from the Leadership Dayton Program in 1991. Judy was elected to the Montgomery County Commission in November 2006, re-elected in 2008, 2012 and 2016.
During her career in public service, Judy has served in a variety of capacities. Judy began her public service in 1985 on the State and Local Government Commission in the Lt. Governor's Office. She went on to serve with Montgomery County Commissioner Paula MacIlwaine from 1987-1991. After her tenure with theCounty Commission, Judy was a Regional Liaison to the Ohio Attorney General’s Office from 1991-1995. She was employed as the Assistant Court Administrator for the Montgomery County Domestic Relations Court during her initial run for office, and was elected to the County Recorder seat in 2000 and re-elected in 2004.
Judy currently resides in Vandalia, Ohio and has two children and three grandchildren.
