| Info | Rupert Parchment was born in New Haven, Connecticut to immigrant parents from Jamaica, West Indies. After attending local elementary & junior high school, he earned a scholarship to The Kent School in Kent, Connecticut. He received his BS degree from Tufts University in Medford, MA.
After graduating from college, he went on to be an Assistant Director at the YMCA where he started the Training Opportunity Program (T.O.P.) to assist inner city young adults in resume writing workshops, interview skills training and career search assistance. There were a few problems like no computers to write resumes or print the finished product. Rupert Parchment solved the problem by writing grants and within a few weeks, there was a computer lab with new computers & printers.
Rupert grew up in small business with the experiences learned from his Mother & Father's small business drive. As a child, he was raised amongst entrepreneurs who believed in the opportunities America afforded for those who were willing to work hard. Following in his parent's footsteps, he purchased income property for low income tenants 1 year after graduating from college. In September 2008, he started deCor Logistics LLC, an Over-The-Road Logistics company located in Atlanta, Georgia. In 2012, he joined the modern-day gold rush in Williston, ND. He decided to learn how to haul oil before purchasing his 1st truck 6 months later. After spending a year there and having enough of -30 below weather, he was asked to help in crude oil transport in the Wyoming/Colorado region. Currently, the trucks run regionally in the Rocky Mountain area providing Sand Hauling, Dry Van, Flat Bed, Reefer Á Power Only services to local customers.
