| Info | Bob Campbell earned a degree in business administration with an emphasis in Accounting from Northern Arizona University. He worked as an Assistant Manager at an Arizona Home Center business, and an Internal Auditor for the Home Depot before moving to Teller County with his wife Gail and 2 children in 1993. They built their home on property they had previously purchased in Divide. After completing their home, Bob established his business, Divide Tax, and soon thereafter added his Certified Financial Planning to the business.
He quickly began to volunteer and was very busy with the Divide Park Board building the park and ballfields, working with the Kiwanis Club, Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, 4-H, Habitat for Humanity and Woodland Park School District activities.
As he became established in the community he worked toward his dream of being active in the political scene. He became a member of the Teller County Republicans where he served on the Executive Committee and then Chairman. Later, he was elected to the Teller County Board of County Commissioners in 2002 and served from 2003-2010. As a County Commissioner, he was able to serve on many boards and commissions including Colorado’s Works Allocation Committee, Chairman of the Pikes Peak Workforce Board, Colorado Counties, Inc. General Government and the Tax and Finance legislative committees.
He was elected as the Teller County Treasurer/Public Trustee and served from 2010-2018, where he was also elected to serve on their State Association’s Board for several years. He has been recently elected again and is very pleased to return as County Commissioner in 2019. He is once again on CCI’s Tax and Finance committee and General Government committee. He has also been recently appointed CTSI’s Workers Compensation Board.
