| Info | Kevin is a thirteen year resident of the Florida Keys, having moved to the City of Layton with his wife, Katrina, in 1999. Kevin works in the Clerk’s Finance Department, serving as your County’s Assistant Finance Director. Katrina works as the gifted teacher at Gerald Adams Elementary School. They now reside on Big Pine Key.
Kevin served two terms as a Layton City Councilman and four years as the Chairman of the Monroe County Fire & Ambulance district. He currently serves as the Treasurer and Community Board Member of the Key West Montessori Charter School.

Move to the Keys
A sudden illness of Kevin’s business partner at Arbitral forced the restructuring of the portfolio management. Kevin took this opportunity to reduce his role to that of an active advisor rather than day-to-day manager. This allowed Kevin and his wife to move to the Keys and consult for Arbitral remotely.
Kevin became involved in politics by running for the Layton City Council at the request of his neighbors. They recognized both his leadership abilities and his fair and balanced approach to dealing with City issues. Kevin served two terms on the City Council, one as Vice Mayor.
In 2004, an opening in the Clerk’s Finance Department brought Kevin’s career full circle, back to its roots and expertise in accounting. His appreciation for public service, deepened by his experiences in Layton, has made his eight years in the Clerk’s office a rewarding experience.
