Info | Dwayne McFall was elected to be the Commissioner for District 3 in 2016.
Dwayne was born and raised in New Mexico. He attended West Texas A&M University in Canyon Texas where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Agriculture Business and Economics he graduated in 1989. While in college Dwayne worked for the USDA meat grading service. After graduating from college he moved to Nebraska and ran a feed mill. He then returned to New Mexico to farm and ranch full time.
Dwayne moved to Fremont County in 1992 with his family to become a small business owner, before he went to work for WalMart in 1994, working in supervisory positions for 23 years.
He and his wife Kendra have a blended family of 5 children and 5 grandchildren. He is a lifetime member of the NRA and Amateur Trap Association . He is also a member of Ducks Unlimited, and The Mule Deer Foundation. He is a huge supporter of conservation efforts and an avid outdoors man/sportsman, and has been a host for exchange students.
The boards that Dwayne will be serving on are; Upper Arkansas Area Council of Governments, Judicial Center Security Committee, Central Front Range TPR, Fremont Weed Advisory, Fremont Conservation District, Fremont Cattlemen, Southern Colorado Economic Development District, Canon City Chamber of Commerce, Fremont County Tourism Council.
Throughout Dwayne's campaign he can be quoted as saying, “We the people can, and will make a difference.” Dwayne is looking forward to an exciting term, working for and with the people of Fremont County.
