| Info | Brook Bassan was born and raised in Albuquerque where she continues to live with her husband, Uri and their four children.
Brook grew up in a family of local, small business owners. Her mother’s side of the family owns Capo’s Italian Restaurants and some commercial real estate in Albuquerque while her father’s family owns Territorial Scaffold, Inc.
After graduating high school in Albuquerque, Brook attended the University of New Mexico. She later earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice.
Brook has been actively involved in our community for years. She has since been elected PTA President at North Star Elementary School and Financial Officer for the New Mexico PTA. In addition, Brook has also become an elected Board Member of the Nor Este Neighborhood Association.
Brook was elected to the City Council in 2019 on a platform of common-sense leadership. She has focused on public safety, economic development, and improving the quality of life in our district.
