Van Dyke; reelected as a Republican to the Sixty-seventh, Sixty-eighth, and Sixty-ninth Congresses and served from July 1, 1919, to March 3, 1927; chairman, Committee on Railways and Canals (Sixty-eighth and Sixty-ninth Congresses); unsuccessful candidate for renomination in 1926; engaged in the real estate business; died in St. Paul, Minn., November 21, 1927; interment in Elmhurst Cemetery.
