InfoI have lived in Framingham all of my life. I attended all of the government schools; McCarthy elementary school, Farley Middle School, two years at South High School, and then two years at Framingham (North) High School. I delivered the Middlesex News to my neighbors for about 5 years and had a summer job at Framingham State College. My Mother, Father, and my brother have been and still are an essential part of my life. They have provided the foundation on which I have been able to build my life. Their love and support have been vital to the success that I have achieved in every aspect of my life.

Work Information:
Since 1998 I have worked as an electronics engineer. I have been employed at companies that manufacture consumer-grade Inertial Measurement Units (IMU's) where I designed the 2nd generation of IMU's including the market's first wireless units. These IMU's are used in flight simulators and high-end video games. I have also worked as an electro-optics engineer working with integrated optic chips (IOC). I later worked for a defense contractor who used those very same IOC's in guidance systems for the Patriot Missile, fighter jets, military satellites, and other guided weapons.

I also had the pleasure of teaching electronics and mathematics at a two year technical college.

Political Experience:
I have been involved with multiple campaigns over the last 10 years, including my run for State Representative in 2002. Other campaigns that I have been involved with include: local positions here in Framingham, Carla Howell’s Campaign for U.S. Senate against Ted Kennedy, Carla Howell's Campaign for governor, the ballot initiative to end the income tax, and Craig Mathias’ campaign for State Rep.

Education:
I attended the Framingham “public” school system from 1st grade through high school. I then continued my education at Western New England College where I studied electrical engineering. I intensely focused on my studies and achieved Dean’s List standing numerous times. I received my Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering in 1998.

Personal Interests:
Soccer:
While in elementary school, middle school, and high school I played soccer with the Framingham United Soccer Club. I had many years of playing on teams with some of Framingham’s finest people. My last few years of playing were the most memorable. The coaches, teammates, spectators, and referees made it a fantastic experience.

Powerlifting:
Once in middle school I began weight training at Pep’s Gym in down town Framingham. The owner of the gym, Roger Paull Jr., was a national champion powerlifter and began training me. Between the ages of 14 to 24 I won two national championships and broke 7 national records. I have also had the privilege of representing the United States at two world championships. I won the SILVER metal at my 1st world championship and came home with the GOLD at my 2nd world championship - setting four world records.

I have met many people throughout my years of competing. They are some of the strongest and most humble people I have ever met. It has been a great pleasure competing with some of the world’s finest athletes.

Service Rifle Competition:
While in college, a friend of mine introduced me to the great American tradition of firearm competition. After graduating from college I pursued the sport in my free time. I shoot in NRA high-powered rifle competitions with the Hopkinton Sportsman Association (HSA) Rifle team. In these matches, we shoot some of the worlds finest and most accurate rifle. My Bushmaster XM-15 is one such firearm.

I have had the opportunity to shoot with a local team that recently attended the nationals at Camp Perry and some of the United State’s team members that attended the F-Class World Championships in Canada. During my time at the gun club I have met people who can only be described as “the epitome of patriotism.” These people consist of Vietnam Veterans, Korean War Veterans, Police officers, and many private citizens who are interested in preserving the American traditions of personal freedom and private firearm ownership.

IPSC
I have recently started shooting with the IPSC (International Practical Shooting Confederation) team at Hopkinton Sportsman Association. IPSC is a handgun "action shooting" sport that is fast paced - as opposed to the slow, precision service rifle shooting.

Massachusetts needs liberty, not Legislation!
