| Info | The son of an engineer and a registered nurse, Josh has lived in Adams County since October, 2006 when he transferred to Colorado while serving as a Sergeant in the United States Marine Corps. It was while coordinating Toys for Tots with the Marines where he discovered his passion for working with communities in need. After receiving an honorable discharge, Josh went on to earn a Master of Arts in Public Administration from the University of Colorado, Denver.
He has since worked in the community banking and finance industry while pursuing his passions for public service in his personal life. Josh has worked with numerous nonprofit organizations over the years and was elected to City Council for the City of Thornton in 2015. While on Council, he fought for attainable housing, to improve conditions for working families, and pushed the city towards long term financial stability.
Working in project management at the time, Josh saw the opportunity to work with communities full time in 2017 and was elected as the Adams County Clerk and Recorder in November of 2018. Since entering office, he has worked to modernize the office with the goal of creating a Transparent, Efficient, and Accessible agency which works for the people.
Josh lives in Brighton with his wife, Christina. They have five children ranging from 9 to 22 years old, along with three dogs and two cats.
