Andrew "Rocky" Raczkowski has been fighting for Michigan in the State House of Representatives for the last six years. He's been a leader for our state as House Majority Floor Leader, and was one of the youngest legislative leaders in the nation.
He's served our country in the armed forces. At present, he's a Captain in the U.S. Army Reserve, a graduate of U.S. Army Airborne School, and a certified Airborne Pathfinder.
Rocky is running for U.S. Senate because he wants to continue serving Michigan and his nation. As our Senator, he'll put Michigan first, and get results for us.
Rocky is one of us. He grew up in Farmington, graduated from Harrison High School, and went to Eastern Michigan University. After graduating, he joined the U.S. Army Reserve, and, after four years of service as an infantryman, was promoted to Lieutenant. Today, he's a Captain, a certified Paratrooper and Airborne Pathfinder.
During that time, Rocky also received his law degree from the Detroit College of Law at Michigan State University and started a small business, called Mainline Communications, which is based in Farmington.
Rocky is active in his community. He's a member of his local Chamber of Commerce, Optimist Club, and Jaycees. As a State legislator, he's visited countless schools, clubs, organizations, and businesses.
As he campaigns for Senate, Rocky is committed to visiting every corner of Michigan- the town halls and coffee shops, plant gates and fields, schools and homes- to listen to our needs and concerns.
