InfoThroughout my career as an attorney, successful entrepreneur and executive, I have been guided by a belief that any worthwhile goal is achievable through hard work and commitment. I have carried that lesson with me throughout my life and my wife and I intend to pass it on to our own children - Micki and Elias.

As your State Senator, I will use the same principles I learned growing up to help Governor Romney continue to reform state government. We can no longer ask Massachusett's families to support the bloat, patronage and mistakes of the "inside" politicians that have run Massachusetts for too long. We must direct our resources to those who truly need help in our communities - especially the elderly and children - not politicians and their friends and families.

I will not take hard-earned money away from families by raising taxes and I will do my best to help Governor Romney create and protect good jobs for our state. A vibrant economy will help people in Plymouth and Barnstable and in all corners of our state thrive. The key to our economic strength is a skilled workforce. That is why I will work to provide all children with a first-rate education in our public schools and adults with lifelong learning opportunities so they can remain successful and fulfilled in a changing world.

I pledge to always put the people of Massachusetts first.

- Tim Duncan
