| Info | Lawrence was an elected member of the Valleyfield Community Council. His family comes from rural roots and eventually studied Agriculture in post-secondary school. He worked for the Ministry of Agriculture in BC and eventually moved to PEI. He also spent 2 years as an agricultural consultant in three colleges in Kenya, Africa. He connected with the Southeast Environmental Association. He enjoys and appreciates what the PEI environment has to offer and continues to serve the community by continuing to volunteer his time.
“There’s no doubt in my mind that the NDP is the party that best represents my values and in my opinion, the values of most Islanders,” says Millar. “I can’t sit back and see what’s happening in our province, more and more people are falling further behind and with nothing to help them. Something has to give. I’m sure people will see our campaign and see that Michelle Neill is the only leader fighting for them to make life better.”
