| Info | As a member of the Cape Fear Valley Hospital System Board of Trustees, he has been appointed to the Finance Committee, Audit Committee, Compensation and Investment Committee, Bladen Hospital Board of Directors, Board Quality and Patient Safety Committee and Diversity Practice Committee.
Mr. Faircloth was elected to the N. C. Association of County Commissioners’ Board of Directors as the District 6 director for 2016-2018. He also serves on the NCACC’s Tax and Finance Committee.
Mr. Faircloth is a current or former Board of Commissioner liaison to the ABC Board, Social Services Board, Mental Health Board, Municipal Parking Committee, Fayetteville Area Convention and Visitors Bureau, Greater Fayetteville Futures II, Joint Transit Study Committee, Parks and Recreation Advisory Board and Joint Planning Board, and served as the military liaison. He was appointed as a member of the Child Homicide and Identification and Prevention Council and the Criminal Justice Partnership Advisory Board. He served on the Cumberland County Personnel, Finance and Policy committees and the Fayetteville-Cumberland Liaison Committee. Mr. Faircloth is a former chairman of the Cumberland County Board of Education and City of Fayetteville Planning Commission.
A native of Cumberland County, Mr. Faircloth attended Cumberland County Schools. He graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and is a Certified Public Accountant. Mr. Faircloth has worked in public accounting and financial consulting in Fayetteville since 1972.
Mr. Faircloth and his wife, Carol, have grown children. His hobbies include golf, physical fitness, playing the guitar, traveling, reading and watching sports.
