Sabrina’s Shared Core Value: Students First most resonates with me because I know from personal experience how much difference our public schools make in the lives of our students. I was intermittently homeless as a teenager and struggled socially in school, but my teachers, counselors and high school principal believed in me. Their efforts meant that I graduated from high school with honors a year ahead of schedule and went on to a successful career. It's incredibly important to me to be able to give back and do my part to ensure Every Child Succeeds.
Sabrina’s role with Team DPS: Sabrina D’Agosta is the director of Strategic and Policy Communications for DPS. In this role, she oversees the district’s communications with our core internal and external audiences, including parents, teachers and principals. The Strategic and Policy Communications team creates and implements strategic communications plans for each of our Denver Plan 2020 goals, as well as other key policy initiatives.
