Info | Eamon Ryan was elected to Dáil Éireann in May 2002. The Green Party Parliamentary Party have endorsed Eamon Ryan as their presidential candidate and he is currently seeking nominations.
He is the party spokesperson on Transport Enterprise, Trade and Employment and Communications, Marine and Natural Resources.
He has been active in the Dublin Transport Initiative (DTI) and was Chairman of the Dublin Cycling Campaign prior to his election to Dáil Éireann in 2002.
He began his political career in 1998 when he was co-opted to Dublin City Council. He subsequently topped the poll in the Dublin City Council Rathmines Ward in the 2000 local elections.
He is married to journalist Victoria White and they have four young children.
