Info | Jennifer, who lives in Maple Grove, has more than 15 years of experience as a structural engineer, including designing flood control structures for the flood control project in Grand Forks, N.D. She earned a bachelor of science degree in civil engineering from Iowa State University and has completed a Mini MBA through the University of St. Thomas Executive Education Series.
Jennifer has been very active in her community. She serves on the board of the Minnesota Commission on National and Community Service (SERVEMN); and has served on the Independent School District 279 FISCAL Advisory Committee and Strategic Plan Committee; on the Budget Advisory Committee for the City of Brooklyn Park; and as vice chair of the Brooklyn Park Human Rights Commission. Jennifer is treasurer of the Gladstone Homeowners Association; a cofounder and volunteer for Ever After Gowns; a parent volunteer at Beacon Academy; a Meals on Wheels volunteer; and a parishioner at Mary Queen of Peace.
As a mom of four young children, my husband (Todd) and I have long appreciated the Three Rivers park system. Whether it is winter tubing at Elm Creek Park Reserve, hiking at Fish Lake Regional Park, fishing at Mississippi Gateway Regional Park or visiting the many other sites, our family has enjoyed the variety of activities the Park District has to offer the community.
