| Info | Tom was born and raised in Heron Lake and graduated from Heron Lake High School in 1975. He attended the University of Minnesota and earned his Bachelor's Degree in Agricultural Education. Tom also attended Minnesota State University at Mankato and received his Bachelor's Degree in Life Science. He is currently in his 36th year of teaching, two years at Marshall Public Schools and the past 34 years at Mountain Lake High School teaching agriculture and science. Tom is active in the Minnesota Association of Agricultural Educators and Mountain Lake-Odin-Ormsby Sportsman's Club. Tom is married to Kelly, who is a Senior Court Clerk for Watonwan County, and they have three children, Nathan, Ben, and Jessica.
