| Info | I am originally from Dilworth and a lifelong Clay County resident. I became a member of the Dilworth Fire Department in October of 1991, while I was a senior at Dilworth-Glyndon-Felton High School, from which I graduated in 1992. Upon graduation, I attended and graduated from Alexandria Technical College, earning an Associates Degree in Law Enforcement.
I have been with the Clay County Sheriff’s Office for 16 years and have had a total of 21 years in law enforcement in the Clay County area. I worked for the both the Dilworth and Glyndon Police Departments and part-time for the Sheriff’s Office before being hired as a full-time deputy with the Sheriff’s Office in May of 2002. In 2016, I was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant by Sheriff Bergquist. I currently serve as the Patrol Division Commander, where I manage the day-to-day patrol deputies and operations.
