| Info | Jamie Romeo is a lifelong resident of the Town of Irondequoit, proud mother of Dominic and a proud Democrat.
The former Chief of Staff to State Senator Ted O’Brien (SD55) and Staff Director to the Democratic Caucus to the County Legislature, Jamie has a long history of public service in the Greater Rochester Area. A local West Irondequoit Alumn, she graduated from St. John Fisher College cum laude and received her Masters in Public Administration from SUNY Brockport. Jamie currently works as the Chairwoman and Executive Director of the Monroe County Democratic Committee.
At an early age, Jamie has been dedicated to public service and environmental stewardship. In 1993, she organized the first International Coastal Clean Up event in Monroe County; which will be holding its 25th annual event this September.

I pledge to fight every day for economic development that is sustainable and looks to bolster the working class.
I will work to ensure that our schools get their fair share in state aid because we must continue to believe that public education is the great equalizer in our society.
I will work to ensure that progressive values continue to be supported at the State Capitol. We have made progress on issues such as marriage and gender equality, women's rights and social justice - however, we must always look to make our society equal in the eyes of the law.
The Trump Administration has clearly placed a target on New York State, and I commend the Governor for standing up to the alarming policies coming out of the White House; I know we need strong voices to keep Upstate’s voices heard in that fight. The work of our state delegation has allowed for me, a working mother from a middle-class neighborhood, to be able to create a secure and loving environment for my son.
I will not allow the Trump Administration to take that opportunity away from my son or any other child.
