days ahead for our district’s future

"For many years I have been content to work behind the scenes for other thoughtful political candidates with no personal ambitions other than to see good people elected to public office. I then ‘dove into’ the world of public service myself in running for and winning a seat on the City of Grandview’s City Council. I do believe that now is the time for me to take another step forward in government leadership at the national level as a strong voice and an advocate of the people.

I do have to say that I know of no other citizen in our area that has as much of a love for his hometown and the surrounding cities as I do. I deeply care about the future of the area where I intend to continue to raise my children and invest my life, and will vigorously work to assure its prosperity. And it is with this adoration of our district and its various communities that I intend to help shape its future.

I have experience in working with multi-million dollar budgets and have been the overseer of over thousands of volunteers. I know the wisdom of the occasional compromise but will always stand my ground on my core beliefs. I have always believed in my ‘people skills’ and greatly enjoy building and creating the visions that move the hearts of people.

With or without the official title of ‘Congressman’ I do plan to continue to ‘put my shoulder to the plow’ in making the Kansas City Metropolitan Area the place where businesses want to build and where families desire to raise their children
