| Info | I am the eldest male of eight children. My parents, Paul Sr. and Yvonne, brought me and, at the time, four other siblings to Colorado in 1962. We settled in Thornton, Colorado. I grew up with five sisters and two brothers.
My mother was a stay at home mom and my father was a mechanic for United Airlines. Though my mom would do a few in-home odd jobs such as babysitting (crazy when you have eight of your own) and iron for the neighbors as piece work, my father was the main bread winner.
At times he worked more than just his United job to make ends meet. But work he did.
Being the eldest son, my father taught me that nothing is handed to you, and you have to work hard to earn the things in life that you want to achieve. My mother taught us all that there is nothing better nor stronger than love of your mother.
So, work hard I have. Though I took a few odd jobs after high school (eight kids means no money for college), I settled into a career as an electrician. My apprenticeship started in 1979, and I have been in the construction industry ever since.
I am currently a partner in a medium sized electrical contracting firm, where I am responsible for business development.
I have been self-taught in everything I have done in my life, though I have sometimes had incredible mentors.
I am the father of a successful son Adam (soon to be married).
The main thing I see in life is that, though we all make mistakes, it is when we truly own our mistakes that it really matters. Honesty and integrity is all we have… and it is what is important.
