InfoAndrea has worked in public health, education, administration, bioterrorism, children’s mental health and services in local, state and federal organizations.

Barnard College BA,
Columbia University School Of Public Health, MS in Epidemiology
FSU, School Of Social Science and Public Policy, M.S. in Applied Social Science.

My name is Andrea Stephenson, and I am proud to announce that I am running for Georgia House District 104. I am a health care professional and small business owner. I wrote The Fatherhood Curriculum and researched and developed programs in children’s mental health, economic services, bioterrorism, juvenile justice, reportable diseases, education, transportation, Alzheimer’s disease, performance improvement, aging and adult services, HIV/AIDS, and other public health and legislative programs.

I currently reside in Dacula, Gwinnett County and am happily married to my husband Jim. I am a proud mother, grandmother, daughter, sister and aunt.

I am a member of the Gwinnett Citizens Police Academy Alumni Association, served in Florida on the Census Committee and worked as a Team Lead on the Census in Gwinnett County, and have been appointed to various committees and boards including education, health care, bioterrorism, and am the immediate past President of the Gwinnett County Federation of Democratic Women.

Georgia has fallen to the bottom in terms of health care in the developed world, but we can be so much better.

With the increase in movie companies filming throughout Georgia and the growth in the tech industry, we are on the verge of an economic boom. Let’s seize this opportunity and increase their presence in Dacula and Lawrenceville!

In order for change to take place, we must begin in our own backyard.
