Info | I am a lifelong resident of the 61st district, and a sixth-generation Grant Countian. My husband Eldon and I have been married for ten years and live on a farm in Dry Ridge, along with our two children. I am proud to call this region my home, and have a vested interest in ensuring that the future of this district, and our Commonwealth, is secure and promising. I am strongly motivated by the desire to serve others, and to improve the lives of those around me through all that I endeavor.
I attended Northern Kentucky University, where I obtained a B.A. in both History and International Relations (Political Science). I currently serve as Chair of the Grant County Republican Party, and Programming Chair for the Northern Kentucky Young Republicans. I have been involved with the Republican party for over a decade, and am passionate about the political process and encouraging others to take an active role in civic engagement. I am a member of the Grant County Chamber of Commerce, Kenton County Republican Women's Club, Grant County Historical Society and the National Rifle Association. My family and I are active members at Family Bible Church in Williamstown, where my husband serves as a deacon. My Christian faith is the cornerstone of my beliefs, and serves as the basis for my commitment to ethics and principled leadership.
I am running for this seat because I want the opportunity to represent the people who live in the 61st by being openly accessible and continually engaged in working toward solutions for the issues that impact our communities. I want to be your voice in Frankfort, and I will be dedicated to ensuring that your voice is heard loud and clear concerning the pivotal issues we are facing in the Kentucky Legislature. If elected, I would consider it my duty to scrutinize every piece of potential legislation with one, concrete approach- “Is this the best course of action for the people I represent?”. If you don't yet know me personally, please feel free to reach out through my website, e-mail, Facebook or Twitter- I'm happy to connect. Thank you, and God Bless.
