| Info | immy Johns was raised in Florida, attended local schools and earned dual degrees in Applied Physics from Jacksonville University and Civil Engineering from the University of Florida. Beginning his career in the 1990s he worked for International Paper Company as a project manager where he was responsible for compliance with the Federally Clean Air and Clean Water Act. Wanting to be closer to his family and friends, he moved home and in 2004 founded Solid Rock Engineering Consultants, Inc., which now serves clients across the Southeastern United States, providing land planning, design and permitting services for private and public developments. He and his wife Kathy live in St. Johns County.
