| Info | Paul Hicks was born and raised in Hastings. He is a 1978 graduate of Hastings High School and graduated from Hamline University in 1982 with a B.A. in Political Science.
Mayor Hicks has volunteered for many organizations including the Hastings Jaycees, Urban Concerns Inc., S.O.A.R., Hastings Alumni Association and Hastings Access Television Corporation. In 1997, he was selected as one of Ten Outstanding Young Minnesotans by the Minnesota Jaycees.
He is employed by the Minnesota House of Representatives where he works as a Supervisor in the Office of the Chief Clerk.
