InfoI want to be your next Attorney General, because I want to make Utah a safer place for our children and families. I want to lead the fight in enforcing laws to make Utah 's air cleaner and safer to breathe. I want to fight for the rights of victims. And, I want to make sure that parents who owe child support --- pay it.

I love being a lawyer, and I have the greatest respect for the office of the Attorney General but the Attorney General's office is not about lawyers, it is not about judges, or courts, or legislators It is about you, and your children and your families. It is about the people of Utah . The citizens of Utah , all the citizens of Utah , are the clients of Utah 's Attorney General, and you deserve the best representation you deserve lawyers that are fair, smart and objective, and you deserve people who are inspired to serve the public.

I would be honored to serve as your Attorney General. I had the opportunity to serve the public while working in the District Attorney's office, and I'm excited by the challenge of leading the Attorney General's office in a way that brings respect from the people of Utah and from Utah 's courts. I'm excited about the opportunity of creating an environment where everyone in the Attorney General's office feels empowered to make an impact to make a difference to pursue the right cases and win those cases.

It is the nature of politics to disagree on issues, but the people of Utah deserve to have legal representation based on thoughtful judgment, based on priorities and use of resources, not based on politics.
